Anna Smith

Anna Smith is a Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC) in the state of Louisiana. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, a Master of Arts in Industrial-Organizational Psychology, and a Master of Arts in Counseling and Guidance from Louisiana Tech University. Through her education and clinical training, Anna has gained experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families in both school and community mental health settings.

Anna is passionate about helping children and families build stronger relationships, navigate life's challenges, and discover hope through compassionate, evidence-based counseling. She strives to create a warm, welcoming environment where clients feel heard, valued, and supported while working toward meaningful and lasting change. Anna has a special interest in child and family counseling, parent-child relationships, emotional regulation, and strengthening healthy family dynamics. She also has experience providing therapeutic and supervised visitation services, helping families foster safe, healthy connections while supporting each family's unique circumstances.

Anna believes every individual and family possesses strengths that can be nurtured through encouragement, collaboration, and practical therapeutic tools. Her goal is to empower clients to overcome obstacles, build resilience, and move confidently toward healthier relationships and emotional well-being.

Outside of her professional life, Anna enjoys spending quality time with her husband and their two children. She values creating meaningful family experiences and believes that strong relationships, compassion, and connection are at the heart of both her personal life and her work as a counselor.
