Kaitlyn Morris is a Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC). She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, a Master of Science in Psychology, and a Master of Science in Counseling from the University of Louisiana at Monroe.
Kaitlyn has clinical experience in an adolescent psychiatric residential treatment facility setting, where she worked with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, family conflict, emotional regulation issues, and behavioral concerns. She believes that clients are the experts on their own lives. Kaitlyn works collaboratively with each client, creating a safe and supportive environment where their experiences, values, and goals guide the counseling process while she provides support, evidence-based strategies, and encouragement along the way.
Kaitlyn tailors her approach to meet each client’s individual needs by integrating evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief therapy, into her sessions to facilitate positive change. Her goal is to help clients build on their strengths, develop practical coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change.
