Addison Aschbacher is a Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC) originally from East Texas. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, with a minor in Sport and Exercise Psychology, and her Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Louisiana Tech University.
Addison specializes in working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families, supporting clients with anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, behavioral challenges, and social-emotional concerns. She has a particular passion for working with individuals on the autism spectrum and their families, providing guidance, coping strategies, and emotional support.
Her counseling approach is collaborative, client-centered, and tailored to meet each individual’s unique needs. Addison integrates evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Play Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, to foster growth, resilience, and positive change.
Addison believes in creating a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore their challenges, develop self-understanding, and build practical strategies for everyday life. She is committed to empowering clients and families to navigate life’s difficulties while building on their strengths.
When she’s not in the counseling room, Addison enjoys spending time with family and friends, thrifting/antiquing, and exploring new music for her vinyl collection.
