I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with training in EMDR, play and sand therapy. I have experience with helping clients with a wide array of problems such as: relationship issues, self-esteem, depression, anxiety, anger and trauma.
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education with an additional certification in Elementary Education. I spent over 20 years in the field of Education. I have a Masters Degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University.
I have over 25 years’ experience working with children and adolescents. I enjoy working with clients in a variety of formats including individually, couples, and families. I believe the counseling relationship is a process in which you, the client and I, the counselor, have come to understand and trust one another, work as a team to explore and define present problem situations, develop future goals for an improved life and work in a systematic fashion toward realizing those goals.
I am married, the mother of two adult children and the grandmother of two. I enjoy spending time with my family, reading and taking road trips with my husband.
