Child and Adolescent Therapy

Childhood should be a happy time, but many children find themselves faced with complicated and confusing situations. It's very important for children and adolescents to learn how to live rewarding, positive lives while dealing with the pressures of school, relationships, family, and illness. Our experienced counselors take distinct care in working with young people and know what it takes to give them the help they may not know how to ask for.

Our counselors are able to support children and adolescents in addressing a variety of issues, including but not limited to, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, body image issues, difficulties with peers, bullying, school issues, family issues, unresolved past traumas, divorce, moving, new siblings, grief and loss, emotional regulation, ADD/ADHD, and interpersonal difficulties.

As a comprehensive counseling center, several of our counselors hold additional degrees in School Counseling and have extensive experience in addressing school issues that may affect a young person’s ability to perform at their highest level both academically and socially. Our staff includes both a Licensed Psychologist and a School Psychologist should evaluations be requested or recommended.
